It was the last class of the elective and one the most interesting once, we had to choose one movie character and taking inspiration from their look given in the movie, we had to create mood boards and a look for an object.
The interesting part was that how we observed each and every detail of the movie character. My character was Dora Milaje a group of tribal women from Black Panther, my character depicted a strong emotions of unity, strength, boldness and proud women. All these qualities I tried to depict it in my essence mood board and for the aesthetic, I included all the details of their costume.
The next step was to design an object taking inspiration from the mood boards. I chose to design a perfume bottle, with the help of these boards I got a better vision of to design it, also I could identify ‘why’ and ‘how’ behind everything that I was implementing.
