For week 4, it was short class in which we had to show sir our research that we did for our videos. I basically tried to find videos which could make the other person feel each and every step of the process.
I showed sir my first attempt at the video we had to make based on our new narrative. I received good feedback and that it’s going in the right direction. Today, I spent time on reworking the transitions I created to make them better. I also added music. I timed the music so that it was in sync with the various transitioning and movements in the video.
The idea behind the process of making cheese is first that it is something that I love to eat and second the process of making it really interesting. In cooking anything time really matters, time can either make the dish really delicious or can ruin it completely.
The way milk transforms itself from liquid to solid by using another ingredient is the beauty cheese.
We discussed an old movie which belonged to the Twilight Zone series, and was shot in Black and White. I loved how it played around with subjective notions of time, how the human brain can recall events at a rate very different from real time. From the director’s perspective, the use of slow motions and the adoption of irony, contrasting fast heartbeats with slow fram rates.
