In this class the objective is to summarise the stories in terms of emotions and basic concepts. The cities I was looking at were Melania and Fedora. Melania is the city where people are placed in roles and before they were born and after they are dead, the cycle continues. But the roles also change from time to time. Hence the concept I see in this story is the concept of social norms and roles where people are categorised based on prior knowledge, beliefs and society.
The story of Fedora describes a city that has a museum in the middle. This museum contains glass globe. When people come and look at these glass globes, they see how they imagined the city. They see their ideas for the city but unfortunately, those ideas could not manifest because the city developed further enough for it not to be possible. Hence I saw a concept of uncertainty because the city was changing and developing so much.
For next class we had to start writing our stories for which I started taking help from the Book.
