For today’s class we had to research about a company and how has it’s branding evolved over a period of time. This project was given after a brief study of how pepperfry has changed over these so many years.
I took apple as my brand and here are some facts of how the logo has transformed and now is one of the most popular brands in the world.

The above picture is the first ever logo of apple which didn’t describe the physical shape of an apple. It represented law of gravity which is inspired by an apple.
The first image to represent the computer co. Isaac Newton. It was the depiction of event with Newton sitting under an apple tree.

They realised the logo and the name had to be fused as one.
The New Logo- Classic and world renowned logo of the bitten apple.
The gave it a ‘bite’ so that people would know that it represented an apple and not a cherry tomato. It also lent itself to a nerdy play on words (bite/byte), a fitting reference for a teck co.
We discussed about various trends because identification of a trend is very essential as it gives a firm first mover advantage. It’s trends according to me a threat for any company because if they don’t adapt themselves with the coming trends they are at a risk.
It’s hard for a company to come out their comfort zone into a new and a fast changing environment. Trends give a direction as it predicts future.
