Today’s class was not like a usual class, we watched Amélie. The movie revolved around a girl name Amelie. Amelie Being brought up in an environment where she is not allowed to go out of her house, and her parents also acted in a very immature way, not being exposed to the world made the inquisitive child to create her own imaginative world.
Now, when she has grown up she realizes the actual world is different from her own thinking. Being an outcast person, she acts normal so that no one thinks that she is different.
She also used to collect pebbles and she threw them at the end of the story, when the artist told her to let go of things.
According to me, Amelie was a surreal person for the society and for Amelie the society was surreal.
