- In the second week our teacher taught us how to sketch human figures. At first I thought it would be difficult for me to sketch but as my teacher explained the process which involved first drawing a stick figure, giving it a body and further add detailing to it.
- My class was split into groups of 4, we were expected to draw quick 5 minute sketches of each other.
- I understood the difference in drawing from life and from photographic reference. Drawing from life not only test’s your observation but also your ability to translate the different forms of the human body onto paper.
- I kept on practicing and started pointing my mistakes , and I gradually improved sketch by sketch.
